MTH Report post Posted July 4, 2015 Hey There ~ I'm making a steampunkish pouch and wondered if the tandy pin clasp (see link below) is secure when turned upside down. I'm guessing 'no' but I suppose there's a chance that the pin can be pushed in tight enough to secure the bag if it gets tossed around. Thanks for your help! https://www.tandyleather.com/en-usd/home/department/hardware/bag-clasps-closures/1305-02.aspx

Peter Darby Report post Posted July 10, 2015 I have had one securing my pouch for several years. I would trust it to hold for a brief upside down foray such as picking it up from the table. To open the pouch I have to push up on the pin. It doesn't want to come loose by pulling it from the top.
