Members Petewon Posted August 13, 2015 Author Members Report Posted August 13, 2015 Ok no worries. Just the way I read it seemed to be implying I wasn't being helpful. Cheers. Quote

Members DR80 Posted September 5, 2015 Members Report Posted September 5, 2015 Really nice Did you use any edge dye on the "yellow wallet" ? (which one?) or is it just burnishing? Quote
Members Petewon Posted September 6, 2015 Author Members Report Posted September 6, 2015 Thank you. Yes I used a dye I made up from yellow acrylic mixed with stahl/gardini gloss lacquer. It worked out really well. Probably not as good as just yellow gardini edge paint but I didn't have any and shipping is a bit pricey. Quote
Members indynusp Posted September 8, 2015 Members Report Posted September 8, 2015 Hello Petewon, may i know which book or source you used to produce your wallets? Thank you Quote
Members Petewon Posted September 9, 2015 Author Members Report Posted September 9, 2015 Hiya, I havn't used any book patterns for any of the wallets I've shown on here. It's just trial and error really, the dimentions were just measured from a wallet I have here and the rest of the information was just stuff I had picked up buy watching youtube videos and experimenting with ideas myself. It took a while to get to that stage and I still find it very hard but it's a great way to relax for a few hours. Maybe look at Ian Atkinson or Nigel Armatige videos on youtube, they both sell a PDF with wallet patterns to accompany their videos. That's a great starting place and will show you pretty much everything you will need to know. Thanks Quote
