Members uknative48 Posted July 28, 2015 Members Report Posted July 28, 2015 So sorry for your loss. Personally I've never seen a leather urn. It may help you to look for a box pattern which you could customize to suit. Quote
RMB Custom Leather Posted July 30, 2015 Report Posted July 30, 2015 Very sorry for you loss. I haven't ever heard of a leather urn either. Have you thought about a wood one covered with leather so you could still do tooling patterns on the leather? Quote
Members PL01 Posted July 30, 2015 Members Report Posted July 30, 2015 Sorry for your loss.I created this for my wife's ashes. a fairly simple box. It distorted a little when I put it into a pan of hot wax. Once I'd gotten the excess wax off I used a hair dryer to get the shape back. It was only on 'display' for the morning before being buried in the graveyard. Quote
Members uknative48 Posted July 30, 2015 Members Report Posted July 30, 2015 You did a good job. It's a lovely tribute to your wife. So sad to lose a loved one so young. Prayers going your way. God bless. Quote
