Members JRDill Posted July 31, 2015 Members Report Posted July 31, 2015 I am looking to order some English Bridle soon, as well as some veg tan straps. Zack White seems to have some really good prices and my local Tandy doesn't carry English Bridle. Anyone have any feedback on them as an online store? Quote
Members camano ridge Posted July 31, 2015 Members Report Posted July 31, 2015 (edited) I think it is best to order over the phone direct. I have ordered on line and still ended up making phone calls to make sure I got what I wanted or that it was definitely in stock. I have had experience where their online store said they had it in stock but it ended up they did not. Everything I have ordered has been what I expected. The only negative comment I have is that I believe their shipping cost are a bit high especially on smaller things. There is no reason shipping should be $16.00 on a nine dollar pattern pack. Troy I Posted July 31, 2015 Report Posted July 31, 2015 Made an order with them for 30 leather belt straps on July 1...still waiting for them to be shipped. The last time I ordered they shipped within two days. The time before I waited 8 weeks for the straps to ship. Good advice from Camano...call them to see if what you want is in stock before you order..if it is they will ship quick, if it's not in stock God only knows when it will ship. The reason I keep going back to them is that they do have some good prices on leather straps, and the quality is not too bad either...I've seen better quality in other dealers Leather, but it was alot more expensive...remember that you often get what you pay for. Members JRDill Posted August 1, 2015 Author Members Report Posted August 1, 2015 Good advice! I'm going to give them a try next week after giving them a call. Quote
Members jk215 Posted August 1, 2015 Members Report Posted August 1, 2015 (edited) They are nice people but e-commerce logistics are not their strong suit. You absolutely have to call and check stock on leather before purchasing online. They dont really keep up to date with that on their website. Edited August 1, 2015 by jk215 Quote
