Members Nick Bowles Posted August 20, 2015 Members Report Posted August 20, 2015 I grabbed this pic off the Internet because I'm intrigued with how he got the border of the stamp light and even the Seeder. I thought it may be stamped after dyeing to get to the leather under the dye, but I tried it and it was just a dark stamp. I'm fairly new...lol....any tips to replicate this effect? Quote
Members cgleathercraft Posted August 20, 2015 Members Report Posted August 20, 2015 Use a resist, like super sheen, before dying. It't tedious but works well. or block dye wrapping cloth around a block and using very small amount of dye. Takes practice...lots of practice. I don't do it enough to do this method.
