sinpac Report post Posted August 20, 2015 How do I remove the handle from the drive pinion stud. I removed the bolt and I know there is a key in there. I tapped the handle with a nylon hammer in hopes of removing it, but it will ot come off. Is it possible there is a burr on the drive pinion stud cause from the handle slipping. You guys have any ideas? Chris
Greenwood Report post Posted August 21, 2015 Hi Chris I had the same problem, used a puller to get crank off. then filed shaft nice and smooth. Solution: made a flat spot on shaft and drilled a dimple on flat spot, so set screw will sit. Tightened to prevent crank from turning. Problem solved.. You are working with cast.....easy on the hammer. Good Luck Leo.
