Members phil7153 Posted August 30, 2015 Members Report Posted August 30, 2015 So I have been making a few little coin holders and they work well, but I would like to expand and make different ones. Does anyone have any suggestions on different designs, possibly ones that hold more than one coin. My focus is to keep them as thin and streamlined as possible to reduce pocket bulk, while mainting easy removal of said coin (while not being able to fall out on its own). Please excuse my beginner leather skills, I am trying to get better. Any and all suggestions and/or help would be greatly appreciated. Quote
Members 25b Posted August 30, 2015 Members Report Posted August 30, 2015 I don't get it...are those supposed to be "challenge coin" holders? If so, just google leather challenge coin holders, then click on "images" and you'll find plenty of designs to copy. If you're making them to sell though, it would be better to come up with your own unique designs on your own... Quote
Members phil7153 Posted August 30, 2015 Author Members Report Posted August 30, 2015 Definitely not making these to sell, just for my own toting around. These are a whole other subculture from challange coins. It is a "worry coin" that has a bearing in, basically a spinning top sans stem. Ive purused google, and was just seeing if anyone had any design sujestions floating around. Quote
Members 25b Posted August 30, 2015 Members Report Posted August 30, 2015 Well, they look to be the same size as many challenge coins. If you google leather challenge coin holders and click on "images", you'll see plenty of designs that will work for those. Quote
Members DoubleC Posted August 30, 2015 Members Report Posted August 30, 2015 This closure is made for coin holders and would allow you make them in different shapes plus hold more than one coin. It's the spring clasp. http://springfieldleather.com/23547/Frame%2CPurse%2CSqueeze-Coin/ Sorry, SLC links aren't working for some reason, all are going to 'page not found' If you type in coin purse closure it will take you to the page.
