I can follow the first half of the directions but then... Blah! Anyone know of a simpler method or step by step instructions for making this beautiful braid? Any help is appreciated. Thanks! 25b Report post Posted September 8, 2015 (edited) Enrique Capone's first book (Rawhide and Leather Braiding - 1) covers the five thong applique pretty well and gives info on how to make it look correct when done in a circular pattern. And before anyone asks, 1. No, I don't have any way to scan and post the instructions from his book (no scanner). 2. It would likely violate his copyright to do that and 3. isaac Report post Posted September 18, 2015 I have had success with grants book, agree his instr are not complete. But if you follow the same logic after his first sequence it works. You need to remember the the sequence and keep going back and correcting. He also has he the wrong hole in fig 2. C not e. I need to post a book cover I did with this on.
