Members Singer29 Posted September 13, 2015 Members Report Posted September 13, 2015 I have a Singer 29-3 and I need to know what proper oil to use for lubrication. I read the owners manual and it says type B or D. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Thanks for any help you can give me. Quote
Hockeymender Posted September 13, 2015 Report Posted September 13, 2015 I would think any clear sewing machine oil would be fine. The machine suppliers that advertise here will have it. Can be had in several size bottles up to a full gallon. That's all I use in all my machines. Quote
Members LumpenDoodle2 Posted September 14, 2015 Members Report Posted September 14, 2015 Yes, good old fashioned sewing machine oil is best. I know some people who use high tech modern oils on their machines, but for me, the proper stuff work best, and is fairly cheap. Quote
