Members george1 Posted October 5, 2015 Members Report Posted October 5, 2015 Hi all Just had a big clear out on ebay and would like to use some of the funds ive made (£300) to get myself some tools if possible leather to start having a go at leatherwork as a hobby. Id like to have a go at a dog collar or a basic wallet and was wondering if anyone would be so kind to recommend some tools from the uk supplier leprevo and which leather is best to go for from them also dyes and treatments. I know similar questions have been asked majy times but i cant find any regarding uk suppliers. Kind regards Quote

Members gary Posted October 5, 2015 Members Report Posted October 5, 2015 For some reason I can't paste the shortcut but there is a thread called something like 'Where can I find the equivalent tool in the UK' and it was last posted to in Aug 15. Quote

Contributing Member fredk Posted October 31, 2015 Contributing Member Report Posted October 31, 2015 I get nearly all my supplies from LePrevo. A fair amount of their tools and dyes comes from Tandy, but is cheaper. The staff at LePrevo are very helpful. Tell them what you want the leather for and they'll recommend some. They'll also post you a small off-cut to check out. Keep an eye on their Special page on their website, many bargains can be had. Quote
