Anybody ever made that thing on P18? I've had the book for years, and sometimes people ask me to make a specific holster from it -- STILL. But, somebody sent me a "pattern" for a K-frame that is the SPITTIN image of the one on P18, and I really don't see a K-frame goin IN that thing. Anybody?...

OK, you made me dig out my copy of the book. I Threw it in the big copier and cut out the pattern. I could not get my K-frame to fit on the width of the holster by wrapping the paper around it.

Yeah, been there ;) I thought maybe there was something I wasn't seeing! Thanks all the same.

Would it work if you used the copier to enlarge the pattern?

I know it is a silly question but thought I would ask.

Sure but then you get in to other issues, like, you only really need to change the width. You would have to adjust the length to make it shorter. and by how much do you expand it? At this point Id just make a new pattern. But it could be done.

Yeah, somebody sent me a SHAPE (not the tooling design), and I thought it looked both small and familiar. So, a little digging... and the paper they sent me fits that page 18 like a glove. Which, it shouldn't do ;)

I had thought that perhaps the publisher had reduced the original drawing to make it fit within the book. If so then at least trying an enlarged version would be a reasonable idea.

A valid idea but this book is big so all the patterns are full size. The book is about 12" X 18" per page.
