landwerlenleather Report post Posted November 12, 2015 I have found some new old stock #6 awls for the American Straight Needle machine. These were made by the Torrington Company of Torrington, CT. These are old (1960's era) but brand new, stored in a climate controlled warehouse since their purchase. These compare very favorably to the more expensive Groz-Beckert awls.
