Classicjan Report post Posted November 17, 2015 Does anyone have knowledge of the Singer model number 211 G 466. I have forgotten how to rewind bobbin without the needle going up and down. It is a long while since I used it. Please can someone help? Thank you Jan
CowboyBob Report post Posted November 17, 2015 You can't on most Ind types you wind the bobbin while sewing, that's why the threadstand holds 2-spools.
Classicjan Report post Posted November 17, 2015 Hi Thank you for your reply. As I now do not have any thread in any bobbin do you advise me to remove needle and fill one? Then as you say, I will fill others as I work in the future. Thank you again. As I haven't used it in a while should I oil it and where are the oil points. I have looked on line and cannot find a user manual on a parts list. Is there such a thing out there? Jan
Art Report post Posted November 17, 2015 Oil it definitely, just remove the thread from the needle, you can leave the bobbin in, in addition to the needle, but remove the thread from the needle. You can run it as much as you like without hurting anything. Art

Constabulary Report post Posted November 18, 2015 (edited) The 211G466 is a large hook machine afaik meaning it is using bobbins with 60% more thread capacity compared with the the standard bobbins. Your machine is made in Germany by the way. I have some original paperwork incl. the original Operators Guider that came with the 211G machines. I will scan it and post a PDF file here or in an extra thread. I have not much time atm so here are some quick pictures first - hope this helps a little bit. I will scan the guide in the days to come. Edited November 18, 2015 by Constabulary
