Members aod2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Members Report Posted November 30, 2015 Hi all.. I've been reading this forum for some time now and want to firstly say thank you to all who contribute! There is a ton of usable knowledge here and best of all, no nonsense.Okay, so I'm looking to purchase my first sewing machine which will be used for the repair of inflatable bounce houses, pvc and webbing. From what I have gathered, I will need a Twin needle walking foot lockstitch machine.I now have the oppurtunity to purchase a used Adler 67-273 (image of actual machine attached) at what looks like a very reasonable price.Do you guys think this would be the right machine and I'm not sure if parts readily available?I've also been looking at a brand new Highlead GC20618-2 but it's approx 3 times more expensive than the adler so need some help here deciding what's best, the last thing I want is to purchase a machine and then realise it's not exactly the machine for me.Thanks Quote
Members Constabulary Posted November 30, 2015 Members Report Posted November 30, 2015 The Adler 67 looks nice - does it come with clutch motor or servo motor? The Highlead most likely has a much larger bobbin and a longer stitch lenght. Other than that I´m sure the Adler will serve you well.
