sandyt Report post Posted December 1, 2015 Hello people, Is this a Claes 200-1? It is no rpx because the arm says needle 88. Rpx uses needle type 81. So the rpx manual says. Does Anybody have a manual for the 200? Google gives little info about this type. Or Claes patchers in general. Sometimes one topstisch is realy realy loose. 1 of 20 stitches or so. Can't find out why. Looks like a simple tension issue though. Bit everything looks fine and smooth. Max. stitch length is oke I guess. 5mm. Maybe a manual could help me out. Don't use the machine very much. Very very little actualy. But when I want to use it, it's always a hassle.
Evo160K Report post Posted December 2, 2015 (edited) sandyt, I recently restored the same 8345-30 machine also known as a 200-3 machine. It uses the large bobbin and class 88 needle. The operators manual is too large to post here. If you'll PM an email address, I'll send it to you. Edited December 2, 2015 by Evo160K
shoepatcher Report post Posted December 2, 2015 sandyt, If that is a big bobbin machine, it will use system 88 needles. That certainly looks like an earlier Claes. I think I have a manual for the 200-1 but it is in German. Take some close up pictures of the aluminum model plate on the front of the machine. glenn
sandyt Report post Posted December 3, 2015 Hello Glenn, I don't know how big a big bobin is. This is the only patcher I have ever had. My machine doesn't have a model plate like Evo160K's. German would be no problem. I'm from Holland. Most Dutch speak or read a fair amount of German. Sandy.
Evo160K Report post Posted December 4, 2015 Sandy, I emailed the manuals to you on the 2nd and again about an hour ago....four manuals in total, one was in German. Let me know if you don't receive them.
