Members JRB Posted December 14, 2008 Members Report Posted December 14, 2008 (edited) Is there a recommendation for how far you stitch lines should be from edges? Re-read the pinned How To and see that I missed the line is 1/8" from edge. Do you guys use double stitching (2 needles) or single stitching (1 needle). Seems the double is better. Looking forward to seeing what you're working on. Good luck with it. ~Bill Quote
Contributing Member Jordan Posted December 14, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted December 14, 2008 (edited) I try to be about 1/4" or a little less from the edge. Which allows for the beveled edge not to crowd the stitch line and I found that the edge does compress somewhat towards the stitching after burnishing usually making it look ok. Members Srigs Posted December 14, 2008 Members Report Posted December 14, 2008 I generally shoot for 3/16 but it can vary depending on the holster. :D Quote
