Looking for a Jerk Needle/Awl??

Gentlemen and/or Ladies,

Could someone give me some advice on where to find a Jerk Needle/Awl (is that what it's called?) for stitching my cantles and horns. Stuck in Iraq right now and not much luck finding any via the net. Any and all help is appreciated!

any needle from a needle and awl machine like a landis or randall chucked up in an awl handle will work. try cambell-bosworth, ferdco, weaver to name a few places that should have them.

I was gonna say the same thing, but Randy beat me to it. I'm working on a box to send my son, near Taji(2-25th,2-14 Cav, Strykers). Where you at?

We call those a hook for a hook and awl stitcher as Randy mentioned. That's what I use too in an awl half handle.
