Members BeUnico Posted March 10, 2016 Members Report Posted March 10, 2016 Hi all I bought a few sale items from an online store including s couple of 3cm conchos. They are 'hammer on' kinds. Now I'm wondering if I'm going to ruin it when I eventually attempt to apply it considering it didn't come with an anvil and it's a concave shape 😕 Ideas please? Thank you in advance x Quote
Members Windrider30 Posted March 10, 2016 Members Report Posted March 10, 2016 try and use a rubber mat the kidn that are used for jeweled rivets that might still allow you to hammer it on without deforming it maybe? Quote
JRLeather2 Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 I use a soft piece of pine wood.... Quote
Members Halitech Posted March 11, 2016 Members Report Posted March 11, 2016 I take a piece of 9oz leather and flip it flesh side up and lay that on my anvil Quote
Members BeUnico Posted March 13, 2016 Author Members Report Posted March 13, 2016 @Windrider30, @Jefzilla, @Halitech Sorry I couldn't thank you earlier, login problems Thank you guys so much, brilliant ideas. These conches are actually very, hard steel more so than I thought so I'm sure any of those solutions suggested will be fine. Quote
