Members plinkercases Posted March 13, 2016 Members Report Posted March 13, 2016 I have a client looking for a reproduction of a holster for the Webley MK6. Does anyone have a pattern or the holster that they can work out a quick pattern from? Any help/suggestions would be appreciated thanks. Quote
Members dragonhawke Posted March 14, 2016 Members Report Posted March 14, 2016 (edited) 4 or 6 inch barrel? Also, that model is a .455 cal and was generally issued to military forces with a canvas holster and shell bag. I have seen a leather holster for our RCMP as well, which look a little like an 1800's US Cavalry holster Edited March 14, 2016 by dragonhawke Quote
Members plinkercases Posted March 14, 2016 Author Members Report Posted March 14, 2016 6 inch barrel. When they say "original" they aren't talking military historical accuracy actually. They just mean like the old style leather ones you see when you Google. Flap and strap and Sam Brown stud, Not a custom design. Any ideas on a pattern source. they are now getting cold feet thinking I can build it without the gun.... not true but.... Quote
Members dragonhawke Posted March 14, 2016 Members Report Posted March 14, 2016 re-read my post and this is what I can use to create the pattern. And Yes, we do need the gun Quote
Members plinkercases Posted March 14, 2016 Author Members Report Posted March 14, 2016 Thanks dragonawke. I have found a pattern for the same style he sent a picture of so it is up to him to see if he wants to "risk it". Quote
