I recently acquired a D.B. Die Works No. 39 kick press. It is currently without a stand.

Before I go ahead and build my own stand for it, do any of you out there have the original stand for this kick press for sale? Also, can you suggest a good source to purchase dies for this machine? I will be looking for dies for Line 20 and Line 24 snaps. I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!

I also got the same machine without stand and I made the stand myself. You can by the table stands (legs) at walmart or home depot and get a piece of wood for the top

I wanted to send you a photo of the stand but it doesn't pass

They're an obsolete maker, but you can work up about anything for a stand.  Even a harbor freight stand for a sander etc might work?   Snap dies, you can work up something I think.  Weaver leather, Dot Fastener, probably more.  Ohio travel bag, etc.

Contact Siska in NJ.  They rebuild all types of eyelet, rivet, grommet machines and make dies.  I have had them make a few for me.

I found a D.B. Die Works n. 39 kick press on marketplace recently, it came without dies, the diameter of the holes on my press is 9mm (I used a caliper tool to figure out the diameter of the hole, which I recommend you do the same) -- I figured out Tandy Leather dies fit nicely, I tried to use other brands but found the height on the DB die works press was too high for most. If your press also takes 9mm dies then I recommend seeing if their 'hand press dies' work, the rivet dies at tandy come in a three pack and they have line snap dies.
