SteelheadFineGoods Report post Posted March 29, 2016 I recently acquired a D.B. Die Works No. 39 kick press. It is currently without a stand. Before I go ahead and build my own stand for it, do any of you out there have the original stand for this kick press for sale? Also, can you suggest a good source to purchase dies for this machine? Even a harbor freight stand for a sander etc might work? Snap dies, you can work up something I think. Weaver leather, Dot Fastener, probably more. Die Works n. 39 kick press on marketplace recently, it came without dies, the diameter of the holes on my press is 9mm (I used a caliper tool to figure out the diameter of the hole, which I recommend you do the same) -- I figured out Tandy Leather dies fit nicely, I tried to use other brands but found the height on the DB die works press was too high for most. If your press also takes 9mm dies then I recommend seeing if their 'hand press dies' work, the rivet dies at tandy come in a three pack and they have line snap dies.
