Tandy Outlet /exotics

Does anyone know if the lizard, ostrich, alligator remnants on sale on the online outlet store real or fake.  They do also have a "genuine caiman flank" for sale, I just didn't know since the other remnants don't say genuine.

I have two caiman if you are looking. They are about just under 3ft long

Caiman flank is real. Ostrich and lizard remnants look real, not sure about that gator. You can always contact them and ask. help@tandyleatheroutlet.com

Springfield Leather also sells real exotic remnants. Their ostrich was super nice, and there were several pieces big enough for a wallet back and more that were good sizes for knife inlays and buckles. They might be out of their ostrich scrap package--you might have to call and ask them if they have any.

I know this thread is old, but since it's still on page 1 and Tandy Outlet still sells the same bags of remnants, someone might still see it. I bought a bag of gator remnants from Tandy Outlet. It was about a gallon size ziploc. Pieces were mostly black and brown with some white and pink. The leather was very thin. Pieces were big enough for watch straps, but none big enough for even one half of a wallet.

i use springfield leather company for my leather. the quality is drastically better than tandy
