Evo160K Posted April 2, 2016 Report Posted April 2, 2016 (edited) I'm restoring two Singer 45 industrial machines and would like to buy a couple of original Simanco presser feet, feed dogs and throat plates. Would you please PM the Simanco part number, a picture showing the part number and a price? Thank you. Edited April 2, 2016 by Evo160K
Evo160K Posted May 15, 2016 Author Report Posted May 15, 2016 These parts are turning out to be really difficult to find. Anyone have any leads or know where I might find one or two? Thanks all.
Members Yetibelle Posted May 22, 2016 Members Report Posted May 22, 2016 Do you have the subclass 45 machine parts your looking for? One day I hope to learn how to sew..... Singer 111W155 - Singer 29-4 - Singer 78-1 - Singer 7-31 - Singer 109w100 - Singer 46W-SV-16 - Adler 20-19 - Cowboy CB-4500
Evo160K Posted May 25, 2016 Author Report Posted May 25, 2016 Yetibelle, Just the original Simanco that came with the machines plus some non-singer that I found online. I've had to makes one or two other versions, but of course those are not marked Simanco. I would like to have a couple of spares, "just in case" and perhaps other styles for other types of work. Thank you for asking.
Members secondcrk Posted July 30, 2016 Members Report Posted July 30, 2016 Dis you try Ralphs Industrial in CO?
Evo160K Posted July 30, 2016 Author Report Posted July 30, 2016 Secondcrk No, but I will. Thank you for the lead.
Mark842 Posted July 30, 2016 Report Posted July 30, 2016 Not sure if this is what you need but it might be. I have purchased from these guys many times when I restored one of my Singer machines. Their shipping and prices are fair. They have a lot of stuff others don't! https://www.college-sewing.co.uk/store/Singer45KSewingMachineParts
Evo160K Posted July 31, 2016 Author Report Posted July 31, 2016 Thanks for the link, Mark. I'll contact them and see what else they have.
Members TwoWayTrauma Posted August 3, 2016 Members Report Posted August 3, 2016 I would also recommend Ralphs. I have bought a few machines from them, and every time I went there for a machine, the head dude (I don't remember his name, but it wasn't Ralph), was more than happy to show me a bunch of the kind I was looking for and test them out. Hopefully they have you part, but if they don't, and no one else does, they do have a full machine shop on site that can manufacture just about anything. Chuck
