Members Phidelt Posted December 19, 2008 Members Report Posted December 19, 2008 The title says it all... I've never worked w/ leather before. Only tools I have/used are a rotary punch, various punches, sharp hobby knife, and a ruler. All stitching was by hand. Dye was an all in one from Tandy leather- applied with wool daubers. Got tired of buying holsters so I thought I'd give leather working a shot... I know my work sucks so feel free to critique. Sorry for bad pic quality.. Blame the iPhone Quote
Contributing Member TwinOaks Posted December 19, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted December 19, 2008 (edited) Good looking start Phidelt, and welcome to Leatherworker.net! I see you're hand stitching at this point in your addiction hobby, and the stitches look good. One note about the placement of the belt loops- it looks like the pistol would sit pretty low in the pants. The Glock holster (with the two loops) looks more along the right height. Other than that, you've got a great start. Plus, you started things out with PICS! Great way to make an intro. Edited December 20, 2008 by TwinOaks Quote
