Windrider30 Report post Posted May 28, 2016 A friend has asked me about leather book binding and as I told her I have only made a couple of leather book jackets so that got me to thinking where can one learn how to bind a book in leather other then just doing a book jacket? byggyns Report post Posted June 2, 2016 (edited) I did a project to replace the cover on a friend's bible. This is the way I went about it. Basically, I used heavy veg-tan leather (8-9 oz.) instead of book boards. I wrapped the whole thing in goatskin.
