Beener Report post Posted June 3, 2016 Hey Crew. I haven't posted a bunch in the last few years, as I had some babies and my life kind of has been pretty busy. I just finished the cleaning and restoration of a Singer 31K15 with table and motor that I am pretty proud of. I reveal a few tips in the blog post as well, so if you want to read as well as look at the pictures, please do. http://www.sooiwasthinking.com/my-blog/we-should-restore-a-singer-31k15-industrial-sewing-machine Ben

Darren Brosowski Report post Posted June 4, 2016 Looks great. Only one question; there are hundreds of thousands black 31k15's so why what another colour?

MADMAX22 Report post Posted June 4, 2016 Great job on cleaning that guy up. I bet these guys looked so good coming off the assembly line especially compared to the plastic crap that does now adays. Mine had some serious dirt on the paint I actually used mag cleaner on it then turtle wax. Have fun sewing with your new old machine.
Beener Report post Posted June 6, 2016 I found a local source for needles today as well, so I will add a youtube video of the machine in action shortly.
