mliebs8 Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 I'm making a knife sheath and want to make a draw string to secure the top but I can't find the piece that you would put the leather lacing in. I've seen them on some cheap bags where you push the button and slide it up. Does anyone know where to get these, or maybe know what they are called? Quote
tashabear Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Those are called barrel locks, and you can usually find them in a fabric store on the notions wall. Quote
Members mulepackin Posted December 28, 2008 Members Report Posted December 28, 2008 Have also heard them called cord-locs or toggle-locs. Outdoor stores should carry an assortment of them as well. I do have some on line sources if you strike out locally. Quote
Ambassador freak Posted January 2, 2009 Ambassador Report Posted January 2, 2009 I just went a grabbed some of these myself CLICK HERE They also sell them at other fabric stores. And the army navy surplus here carries them in camo greens. Quote It takes more then one freak to have a true freakshow. So take a seat , the show is about to start. Check out the freakSHOW
mliebs8 Posted January 4, 2009 Author Report Posted January 4, 2009 Thanks for the help. Freak, I wish I wouldn't have read the story about your dogs. I have dogs myself and it's sad just thinking about not having one of them. Quote
