BHPshooter Report post Posted July 27, 2016 I made this a while back for a friend. He wanted a single-point-type sling for his .357 saddle ring carbine, with some cartridge loops on the front side. It attaches to the saddle ring with a trigger snap. I wasn't too sure about sizing, so I took inspiration from one of my bag straps, and used a center-bar buckle to allow quite a bit of adjustment. The main strap is 7/8oz, the cartridge loops are 3/4oz, all HO. Color is Angelus Russet. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

stu925 Report post Posted July 27, 2016 Very similar to a pair that I made not long ago. I think you may have used the same buckle I did too. The ones I did didn't have cartridge loops and the customer opted for a plastic swivel snap so it wouldn't mar the bluing of his guns (ordered extras and shipped them with the slings so they could be easily replaced).
