A bag made from a friend, with carved bone (the strap rectangles) and horn (the strap adjustment and buttons) hardware. I still don't have pricking irons or a overstitch wheel, so I punch the holes by eye. At least I got recently a pair of good dividers, and I already see the effect.

Nice job.

I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with.

Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day.

From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Thanks. I still wonder how the bone rectangles will hold, but I ran out of thick bone, so I couldn't make another one to break it. Just pulling real hard with my hands didn't do a thing, so I suppose they will hold for a while.
