Members timonovici Posted August 25, 2016 Members Report Posted August 25, 2016 (edited) A bag made from a friend, with carved bone (the strap rectangles) and horn (the strap adjustment and buttons) hardware. I still don't have pricking irons or a overstitch wheel, so I punch the holes by eye. At least I got recently a pair of good dividers, and I already see the effect. bikermutt07 Posted August 25, 2016 Report Posted August 25, 2016 Nice job. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Members timonovici Posted August 26, 2016 Author Members Report Posted August 26, 2016 Thanks. I still wonder how the bone rectangles will hold, but I ran out of thick bone, so I couldn't make another one to break it. Just pulling real hard with my hands didn't do a thing, so I suppose they will hold for a while. Quote
