Boriqua Posted September 9, 2016 Report Posted September 9, 2016 Got a request for something cool but for a 3.5 inch Rocky. They are bushingless. My question is if you have made both commanders and officers .. how much should I cut off my officers pattern to make an officers pattern. I know its a 3/4" shorter barrel but that doesnt always translate directly to gun holster. I make all my holsters long enough so there is about 1/4 - 3/8" extra at the bottom that I curve around the muzzle. Any advice would as always be much appreciated. Alex Quote
Members BHPshooter Posted September 11, 2016 Members Report Posted September 11, 2016 I just checked, and my Officers patterns are 3/4" shorter than my Commander patterns. If you like the way the bottom of your holsters are with a Commander 1911, then 3/4" off of that should yield the same results. Quote
