It seems to be filled with good people willing to help out and answer questions. I am a noob , a beginner, looking to take that next step from hobbiest to hobbiest that wants to make a few bucks , or at least break even.... So I am looking for a sewing machine, T probably used. I sew thicker leathers (holsters mostly) would love to try messenger bag. Most my leather is 6 to 9 oz. I live in Cincinnati Ohio, So... If anyone know anyone that may have a used HD sewing machine sitting around collecting dust that is willing to part with it to help a noob out, It would be greatly appreciated. I am looking to spend in the 600 dollar range... Ok, let me know when your done laughing.... I am willing to go higher for the right buy. Or Leather machine company but Bob is closer to you. Having a dealer is pretty important if you are starting out. There is a Ferdinand 900B on Ebay that looks good for $1250.00 but in Albany NY. I would suggest buying from a reputable dealer and there are several listed at the top of the site. Just my 2 cents. Ken

By the way, customer service is great at Bob's shop...he is always willing to help.
