Randyc Report post Posted January 2, 2009 Dan, Like Mike says, attach your throat piece while your holster is still flat' After I design my throat piece, I glue then stitch the throat piece to the holster body. If I'm building a tunnel/loop holster with the throat band, I glue and stitch the throat band and tunnel loop at the same time while the holster body is still flat. Remember to pre-groove your stitch line or run an over stitch wheel over your stitching again while the holster body is still flat. (The thread on the inside of your throat band will take a beating while holstering and unholstering the pistol) Remember to bevel your throat band, again while the holster body is still flat. dbusarow Report post Posted January 2, 2009 Thanks guys. I was afraid that the piece would end up too stiff if I stitched it flat. I'm happy to hear that that is not the case. TwinOaks Report post Posted January 2, 2009 My first holster (current use Iwb 'cause I'm too busy/lazy to remake MINE) I stitched it up on the curve....N E V E R again.
