I really like this pattern but the one I have is the newer Tandy version and it is lumpy and difficult to work with. The casting is not very good. After getting some of the tandy Pro Stamps I am spoiled with how easy they are to work with. I looked on Barry King's site but didnt see them ... does anyone have a source from this basket weave but quality with a nice sharp imprint.

Something that came out on a fb post was that the Craftool pro line tools are domed so the tool doesn't get a good impression as it could. The solution to these and the regular Craftool line is grind the top flat, I hope this helps.

One of the guys I took a class from said Robert gets swamped with emails and he takes a while to get to it. Even his website says to call me and talk to me personally.

Call Bob if you want a tool.  He does not use the website, it is old and obsolete.  His tools are the best.  They are also a little spendy.  You get what you pay for, worth every penny if you want top notch impressions.
