Members Ernest Posted December 16, 2016 Members Report Posted December 16, 2016 I am new to leather working and have been working to learn the basics. I have been working on my stithcing as well as my dying techniques and I wanted to post my latest wallet. Your constructive feedback is greatly appreciated. Quote

Members Mpreusse Posted December 17, 2016 Members Report Posted December 17, 2016 Very nice. Much better than anything I have done...but I just started two weeks ago. Quote
bikermutt07 Posted December 18, 2016 Report Posted December 18, 2016 Great job. It looks like you are well on your way. A few pointers. The thread is a little large for your wallet. Still, a few taps with a smooth rounded hammer on the threads will get them to lay down and give you a cleaner look. Your stitchining is looking great. Spend some more time on your edges. Was this chrome tanned? If so it takes a lot of intimacy to get a burnished edge. I'm sure you saw the glitches on the pocket cuts. A little sanding there could straighten them out. Over all though a great effort. Keep having fun. Quote
Members rickdroid Posted December 18, 2016 Members Report Posted December 18, 2016 That is a whole lot better than anything that I did when i was a beginner. Keep at it, experience will fix everything that I could point out. rick Quote
