Members SmilinJim Posted July 3, 2006 Members Report Posted July 3, 2006 I'm doing 4 patterns for my wife and her 3 sisters. I want to do jewelry boxes and the ones I'm trying use have a curved top, sort of like a chest, not flat. Any suggestions on finishing the edges of the leather. I will cover the entire box but not sure how to finish the curved edges. I really don't want to sew or lace the edge. Anyone with experience beveling maybe. I haven't done that. Jim Quote
pepin1948 Posted July 3, 2006 Report Posted July 3, 2006 Well, I've not covered an entire box yet, but when I do the lids, I just edge the leather as I would were it anything else (i.e. a wallet I were stitching). Quote
