Cosmetology tool pouch

My daughter is a cosmetologist and at a recent visit to her new shop I saw several stylists using a leather tool pouch to hold combs, scissors, clips, etc. Any idea where I could find a pattern for these pouches?

Are you looking for a flat tool type roll that lays flat on a counter top? Or a construction type that you wear around your waist? A google image search will find great examples of both.

I’ve seen those too — they’re really handy. You can sometimes find ready-made patterns on Etsy or Pinterest if you search for ‘leather stylist tool holster pattern’ or ‘DIY barber pouch.’ If you or your daughter like sewing/crafting, some leatherworking supply shops sell downloadable templates that you can print and trace right onto the leather. Another option is to look at simple leather apron or tool belt patterns and scale them down - the construction is similar, just smaller pockets for scissors and combs. A basic kit from Tandy Leather or Weaver Leather might be a good starting point.

And also I would recommend to spend more money on that thing because if she is a really good cosmetologist tools must to be hold in a very good place!

I actually remembered this post when I recently visited an aesthetic center in Cyprus. The whole place had such a relaxing and professional vibe that I instantly felt so good just being there. As I was looking around, I noticed how well-organized the stylists were, and it reminded me of what you wrote here. A few of them were using these really stylish and practical leather tool pouches for their combs, scissors, and clips, and it caught my attention right away. It was amazing to see how something so simple could make their work look even more professional and convenient. It instantly brought back the memory of reading your question about patterns for these pouches, and I thought how nice it would be to find one myself after seeing them in action!
