Members 1CJK Posted March 30, 2017 Members Report Posted March 30, 2017 (edited) The presser foot on my sewing machine was extremely difficult to lift using the foot pedal. I would have to standup off my stool to push it down. I designed a mechanism that attaches to the bottom of the table that gives the foot pedal a mechanical advantage over the presser foot springs. It attaches with only two screws to the bottom of the table where the chain comes through for the foot pedal. It makes the pedal about as easy to push down as the sew pedal. It has made my sewing experience so much more enjoyable. If anyone is interested in one they are $30.00 and come with mounting hardware, instructions, and free shipping in the US only.
