If it had been dyed and not clear coated you could get away with it, but heck take a small section of scrap and try it your mileage might very. Quote

Members Halitech Posted April 11, 2017 Members Report Posted April 11, 2017 unless you can get the resolene off, or have access to an unfinished backside, not going to happen. The resolene will stop the leather from absorbing water which is needed to tool. You may get it to soak in from the back but even then the tooling won't be as crisp as you would probably hope for Quote
