Members Lalumiere Posted May 26, 2017 Members Report Posted May 26, 2017 (edited) Hello fellow leather workers, Ive gotten to the point where I'm now ditching the T slot design and moving to full slots to have a more luxurious product that doesn't ever get gaps between card slots...how do I do it so the edges don't get crazy bulkyou? Here's some details on what's being used 1: 1st V slot is .5mm gator lined with .4mm lamb 2: Card slots are .5mm chevre sully lined with .4mm lamb 3: total thickness of working pieces are 9mm Yes I know this is thin but I keep my items very thin a very luxury Edited May 26, 2017 by Lalumiere Typo Quote
alpha2 Posted May 26, 2017 Report Posted May 26, 2017 (edited) skive the edges down to make them thinner. You're missing some stitches, too. Check your tensions or technique. We do wan't to be luxurious, after all. Edited May 26, 2017 by alpha2 Quote So much leather...so little time.
