Steve Brewer Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 Hello all! Just wanted to say what a great site and I am glad to be a member. There is so much info and great people I will be checking often. My name is Justin Davies and I live in Three Forks, MT. I was bit by the leather bug in 1998 and in 2000 started building saddles. The pic is my latest. I work part-time on a ranch/feedlot and part-time saddlemaker. My wife is an equine photographer and computer guru. (she pretty much has to help with these "new fangled computers") Anyway hope all had a great christmas and new year. That is a Dandy, good job. Thanks for sharing Quote

Members VanHornSaddlery Posted January 24, 2009 Members Report Posted January 24, 2009 Very nice saddle. Quick question. Are the angled welts harder to put in than the welts coming straitht down the side of the fork? I haven't put any angled welts in yet and am just curious. I am certainlly learning a lot on this great site. Thanks. Jake Quote

The only difference is be sure to pull the leather up around the bottom of the swells tight. Quote Justin Davies Custom Saddles Three Forks, MT www.fourdsaddlery.com
