Members plinkercases Posted August 15, 2017 Members Report Posted August 15, 2017 Picture was sent to me by friend and he wondered if it was leather cutting tool? Look like ti might be but I can quite figure how the bar on the left with the movable piece sets any adjustments as it is the tip of the bar that sets a gap to the "blade".... and the gap is fixed on the crank side. Members NCArcher Posted August 15, 2017 Members Report Posted August 15, 2017 I think it might be a circular gasket cutter. Quote
Members JD62 Posted August 15, 2017 Members Report Posted August 15, 2017 We had one at the body shop to cut 8inch sanding discs down to 6 or 4 inch. But I cant say that was its original use. Quote One day at a time my friends John
Members plinkercases Posted August 15, 2017 Author Members Report Posted August 15, 2017 yes circular cutter makes sense of the bar and moveable "spindle" where the disc whole sits... thanks Quote "Oh my God....I beseech thee grant me the grace to remain in Thy Presence; and to this end do Thou prosper me with Thy assistance, receive all my works, and possess all my affections" Brother Lawrence c.1614-1691 plinkercases.ca
