Guitar case liner

Good day to all,

I would like to know what lining leather for use, against the guitar, for a travel guitar case? It will be two thin leathers with some padding in between. I don’t want to discolor the finish or ruin it as it is not for me.

I would use felt like on a pool table

If you want to keep it all natural, Pig skin is almost like felt and easy to manage around curves. Not too expensive either.

I redid a hard guitar carrier a little while ago and I used both materials mentioned, a felt layer for general cushioning with a pigskin lining. For the neck and head I used some tempur covered with pigskin for that bit extra padding.
