Members Edgeinc Posted October 31, 2017 Members Report Posted October 31, 2017 I recently picked up an almost new Corbin seat for a street triple. The problem with it is that it's just a mish mosh of colors so I want to reupholster the sides and top back with black leather. That will require drilling out the rivets, cutting the new black leather to the size of the current pieces (current leather is 4oz), restitching then riveting. How would I go about this process? I'm new to this project, but I have all winter to work on it so I want to take it on. What type of leather should I buy as I don't really need a lot at all, what kind of rivets do I pick up for the job, and best method for sewing (thread size, needle size, pattern)? Thanks in advance.
