Shame that I didn't think to look for something like this earlier - some of my less-than-stellar projects wouldn't have become studies in how NOT to do things! Anyway, my name is Jake, I've been living in Germany for the last 11 yeas now and have gotten interested in leatherwork from my connection to the SCA. Most likely you'll see my posts over in the Historical Reenactment when I'm not asking newbie questions everywhere else. Strangely enough, I actually know someone here - MikeDB - from the britishblades forum! Nice guy, very helpful. I hope that everyone here is like that!
