KingsCountyLeather Report post Posted December 19, 2017 I made two of them for my brother and his son in law, I used the screw in case they needed to adjust it in the future. another time I made a similar sling but it had a more elaborate connection. I've made a couple of slings, but I don't carry slinged rifles for the most part, so if there is someone that knows of a down-side, I'd like to hear it. Lobo Report post Posted December 20, 2017 Conway buckles were used on the US M3 and M7 shoulder holsters (circa 1943 to 1980 or so, probably 2 or 3 million produced) quite successfully.
