Members Prestige593 Posted February 15, 2018 Members Report Posted February 15, 2018 Made my second wallet. Used 4-5 oz for the back and 2-3 oz for the pockets and ID window. I bought the Nigel Armiatge wallet pack plans and modified the design using his dimensions. On the next one I think that I will have to add a few MM (He is in the UK, so dimensions are metric) to the design to account for shrinkage from the dye step. This one came out a little tight, and I hope it stretches out a bit. It was made for a friend. Quote
bikermutt07 Posted February 15, 2018 Report Posted February 15, 2018 Looks good. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Members KingsCountyLeather Posted February 15, 2018 Members Report Posted February 15, 2018 If you dampen the leather and double up on the credit cards in the slots it will stretch out faster for you. Use old cards as you may break them pushing them in... Nice job on the stitching. Quote
Members cajunpen Posted March 2, 2018 Members Report Posted March 2, 2018 I am currently working on my first wallet - hope it turns out as nicely as yours did. Quote
