Just had a quick question about the needle positioner I installed on my Consew. Seems to work fine but will be out of position sometimes. Does it need to be rigid? I.e. tied down so it doesn’t move?

If the positioner sensor moves around, the needle will change where it stops. It should be fixed so it doesn't move.

Servo motors usually come with a bit of a hardware assortment for holding the sensor from moving. Maybe talk to your dealer?

It is also preferable to fix the sensor to the head vs. the table as it makes it simpler to be able to flip the head back when required.
