Welting

Hello everyone. I've been search online for instructions in how to go about "goyser welting" and unfortunately I've not been lucky in finding any useful material. I would love and appreciate it if anyone can help in anyway concerning this. Attached below is an example I pulled from the internet.

I did a quick search, and discovered that Goyser welting goes by other names:
