BDAZ Report post Posted May 17, 2018 Gum Tragacanth is water soluble, so may be OK for Eskimos but NOT for a belt in Spain, other than to produce a glossy edge. Since the flesh side of the belt will possibly get wet from sweat, you should seal it.
