ComputerDoctor Report post Posted June 25, 2018 Thought I would share this piece with you Folks. The dimensions are approx 12 inches tall by 8 inches wide. 10 OZ hide on front and a super thin, tan pig skin backing. The Cross is tooled and raised and painted British Antique brown and the rest is Blue dye and all coats are buffed. A protective coating will be applied and buffed to a high sheen. The "Jesus" wood carving is white oak, spray painted and glued on the cross. The piece will end up as a hanging 'wind chime' when completed. The main idea was contrasting colors and the use of wood in the Collage. Sam:)

YinTx Report post Posted June 26, 2018 Well done, and cool color combination. Any reasoning behind the overall shape? YinTx
ComputerDoctor Report post Posted June 26, 2018 Thanks Folks! The shape came about by having a piece of scrap that needed work. I plan to make this into a hanging wind chime so the shape is probably better than just a rectangle. I will show the final piece when I finish! 14 hours ago, jmkjmk2 said: keep up the faith brother! YinTx I didn't even notice until after I made the piece but you're right , it does look like a coffin. Sam:)
